Movement and Stillness.
Studio of Mike Howard, DUMBO, Brooklyn, NY

Through video, installation, and performance, Paul and Wolkowicz explore how we occupy spaces whether constructed, embodied or felt. The body moving within architectural locations acts as a signifier for the intangible- memory, interdependence, loss, desire- that are activated through the viewer's own relationships with place, material, gesture and situation.

Movement + Stillness is the ongoing research of Lindsey Wolkowicz and her partner/ collaborator Dillon Paul. dillonpaul.com/home.html
