movement + stillness
Movement + Stillness, is the ongoing research of Lindsey A. Wolkowicz and Dillon Paul.
Through video, drawing, installation, documentation and performance, Paul and Wolkowicz explore how we occupy spaces whether constructed, embodied or felt. Architectural locations, built or found, become signifiers for the intagible such as memory, inter-relationship, loss, desire and psychodynamics. The presence of the body within that space activates that signification for the viewer through their formal and associative relationships with place, material, gesture and situation.
